Charlie Hernandez is a Principal at Palanquin Advisors LLC. He is a licensed California attorney with extensive experience in both financial and legal technology sectors. As the Chief Executive Officer of Crediverso, Inc., a financial technology firm, he led the company for five years, implementing rigorous compliance controls to adhere to complex regulatory frameworks. His leadership ensured strict adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) requirements, as well as the implementation of Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols to prevent fraud and maintain regulatory compliance.

Under his guidance, Crediverso complied with consumer protection laws such as the Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), ensured data security in line with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and achieved SOC II Type II certification to uphold confidentiality standards.

Following his tenure at Crediverso, Charlie served as the Chief Executive Officer of My Pocket Lawyer, a legal technology platform, for two years prior to its acquisition by MPL Group. In this role, he adeptly navigated complex state and federal regulatory frameworks governing the provision of legal information and services.

Charlie currently serves as the CEO of MPL Group, Inc., a software provider to law firms and corporate legal groups.
